ESR Invest in the Youth

The Invest in the Youth programme is a voluntary support programme initiated and funded by the European Society of Radiology (ESR) to support young professionals in their active participation in the annual European Congress of Radiology (ECR).

The inclusion in the programme grants successful candidates free registration to the ECR.

Application to the programme is open to

  • Residents in radiology under the age of 35*
  • Physicists undertaking PhDs under the age of 35*
  • Radiographers in training under the age of 30* 

* Age limits apply to the time of the congress; applicants' 36th or 31st birthdays, respectively, must be after March 8, 2021. 

Applicants must be members or respectively friends of the ESR for 2020, and submitting and presenting authors of a research presentation or poster abstract for ECR 2021.

For the selection of final recipients, abstract acceptance, geopolitical spread and previous inclusion in the programme are considered. The ESR reserves the right to grant support at its sole discretion. 

Applicants must use the same ESR personal ID for their programme application and for their abstract submission(s).

ESR Shape your Skills

The Shape your Skills programme is a voluntary support programme initiated and funded by the European Society of Radiology (ESR) to support radiographers in their first five years of practice in their active participation in the annual European Congress of Radiology (ECR).

The inclusion in the programme grants successful candidates free registration to the ECR.

Application to the programme is open to 

  • Radiographers in their first five years of practice

Applicants must be members or respectively friends of the ESR for 2020, and submitting and presenting authors of a research presentation or poster abstract for ECR 2021. 

For the selection of final recipients, abstract acceptance, geopolitical spread and previous inclusion in the programme are considered. The ESR reserves the right to grant support at its sole discretion.

 Applicants must use the same ESR personal ID for their programme application and for their abstract submission(s).

A proof of your profession and a copy of your passport needs to be uploaded in order to complete the application.
